Liberty Bell Health was founded in 2006 on a simple idea: insurance is too important to be sold by a call center. Twenty years later, that's still the only thing that hasn't changed — we've grown the team, expanded into home care, and we're getting started on property & casualty next.
Liberty Bell Health opened in 2006 after our founder spent twenty years watching the insurance industry move away from the families it was supposed to serve. The promise was unfashionable then and still is now: pick up the phone, explain the policy in plain English, and stay with the client long after the sale is closed.
The agency grew client by client — not through ad spend, but through referrals from people who'd been treated like real human beings during what's usually a frustrating process. Today, Liberty Bell Health is licensed in 19 states and has helped over 2,500 families navigate health, Medicare, life, and group insurance.
In 2025, we extended the same approach to home care. Liberty Home Care Assistance — an MDHHS-enrolled Personal Care Services provider serving Michigan statewide — cares for seniors and adults in their own homes. Property & casualty (auto, home) is next on the list.
We aren't owned by a carrier and don't sell house plans. We shop every carrier in your state so the recommendation is based on what fits — not who pays the highest commission.
You'll have a named agent who knows your file. Not a queue, not a rotating call center — a person you can call, text, or email whose own family has worked with you on this.
Most agents disappear after enrollment. We handle claims questions, denied prescriptions, plan switches when your needs change, and review every renewal — for as long as you're a client.
