What we help with

Every part of Medicare. Every step.

Medicare has Parts A, B, C, and D — plus Medigap, plus extra benefits that vary by ZIP code. Our job is to translate it and find the plan that fits your doctors, prescriptions, and budget.

  • Medicare Advantage (Part C). All-in-one plans that often include dental, vision, hearing, and gym benefits. $0 premium options in many counties.
  • Medicare Supplement (Medigap). Pairs with Original Medicare to cover gaps — deductibles, coinsurance, and copays.
  • Part D prescription drug plans. Standalone drug coverage. We check every plan against your actual prescriptions.
  • Initial enrollment. Turning 65? We walk you through every option before your birthday window closes.
  • Annual Enrollment (AEP). October 15 – December 7. We review your plan every year — needs change, plans change.
  • Special Enrollment Periods. Moved? Lost employer coverage? Qualified for Extra Help? We'll find your enrollment window.
  • Dual eligibles (Medicare + Medicaid). Special needs plans that bring extra benefits with no premium.

FAQ

Common Medicare questions.

Does it cost anything to use a Medicare agent?

No. Our services are free to you. We're paid by the carriers when you enroll — premiums are identical whether you use an agent or enroll directly. The difference is having someone to call when things get complicated.

Should I get Medicare Advantage or a Medigap plan?

It depends on how you use healthcare. Advantage plans bundle everything (often $0 premium) but have networks. Medigap costs more monthly but lets you see any doctor that accepts Medicare with little to no out-of-pocket. We'll show you the actual annual cost both ways based on your real usage.

When can I switch plans?

Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) runs October 15 – December 7 every year. There's also a Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (Jan 1 – Mar 31) and Special Enrollment Periods triggered by life events like moving or losing other coverage.

What if my prescription isn't covered?

We check this before recommending anything. If your drug isn't on a plan's formulary, we either find a plan that covers it or check for therapeutic alternatives with your doctor. If you're already on a plan and a drug gets dropped, we help with formulary exceptions and appeals.

I qualify for Extra Help / LIS. Does that change things?

Yes — significantly. Extra Help (Low Income Subsidy) can dramatically reduce or eliminate prescription costs. There are also Dual Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs) for those on both Medicare and Medicaid that bring substantial extra benefits. We'll check your eligibility.
